I know the seconds are not correct, they came from a picture I found on the net. The are written on the sign at the bottom of the mountain that leads to Cape Point.
Peter: Good work - I think minutes is close enough anyway - the actual coordinates you gave are for the smaller lighthouse (the actual used one)farther south on the cape and the location in this photo is right next to the older and no longer used lighthouse which is more prominent, and proximal. Fantastic views from all of the above - there are more examples (ie photos) on google earth.

Peter: you are VERY close - but no cigar - (correct to degrees and minutes... but not seconds...)
Sue: this is your chance - but be quick - he's usually quicker.
Anyone else: Can you fine tune the result? You will probably need google earth or a very good map...
(hint: with google earth - the pictures tell the story)
