It's been a while since the last stop in the race, but it's time to grab your e-tickets and embark on the 14th leg of superchilled race around the world. We haven't eaten in a while - so here we are in a location you need to identify to win the main prize. First in correctly gets the pick of the menu, tell me what I ate here and you get the bonus points.
The race begins NOW.

Is this that Italian deli in New York which is famous for their salami?
The foodcourt underneath Myer in the city? ;)
I'm not sure if the salamis are famous here - but you're gettign warm Mr von Amsterdam. Brenton, um, you need to get out more...;-)
I am, i'm coming all the way to Coal cliff on the weekend! I hear it's very fancy.

Well indeed Coalcliff is indeed fancy, and I'm glad that you're getting out, but it isn't where this photograph is taken...
really, i was hoping for a menu upon arrival, after the valet's have seen to my car.
I'm not sure the valets will know what to do with your car...
Maybe someone ELSE knows where this eatery is (that is not in coalcliff and does not have valet service, and in fact I'm not sure it has much in the way of table service either... unlike Coalcliff). Brenton seems to be lost.
New York... somewhere... I feel, in my waters, you ate a chicken burger...containing a WHOLE chicken if I know the US of A... drumsticks and all sticking out the side.. so your burger could walk away if it wanted...
YES it is in the US of A but chicken burger was not on my menu... It is a location shown in a number of well known movies...
New York is the correct city by the way. Do we have a name?
McDonalds New York...and you had the McChicken burger with fries and a coke? ;-)
Katz’s Delicatessen on the lower East Side in New York, well known for it's pastrami on rye.
Little has changed over the years, not even the waiters.
205 East Houston Street (Ludlow Street); (212) 254-2246
Can I take your orders??
I'm thinking you went for the Reuben and a huge slice of cheesecake???

Ah Mr von Amsterdam has come up with the goods again! Katz's Diner it is, and the food I had was the pastrami on rye, in fact Sylvain and I shared it - HUGE - and I'm not sure it was exactly heart friendly - but very tasty. Has anyone else been there? I know we have some NYC readers, surely they have some Katz's diner experiences? For more on the location and movie reference... click here
I've never been there! I've been to NY twice, eons ago.
Google was a real help: Deli New York movies was all that it took! And an article in the Dining & Wine section of the NY Times
